Privacy policy

PasteTheme is made by Chattanooga Tshirt LLC. This page says, in plain words, what pastetheme.com and the PasteTheme software collect, what they do not, and how to reach us about it.

This website

pastetheme.com counts page views on its own server: which pages were opened, on which day, and which site the visitor came from. It stores no cookies for visitors, no IP addresses and nothing that identifies a person. The count exists only to see which pages are read.

When you send the contact form, the name, email address and message you type are emailed to us and kept in a private inbox inside this site so that a lost email does not lose your message. We use them to answer you and for nothing else. Ask and we delete them.

Your choice of light or dark mode is remembered in your own browser only, in local storage, and never sent to us.

Some pages carry videos from YouTube, loaded through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing is sent to Google until you press play; from then on Google’s privacy policy applies.

Our host, IONOS SE, keeps ordinary server logs for security, which include IP addresses and are deleted on their schedule. See the IONOS privacy policy for details.

Buying PasteTheme Pro

Purchases, licenses, invoices and renewals are handled by Freemius, Inc. on our behalf. Freemius collects the details needed to sell you a license: name, email address, billing country and payment details, which go straight to its payment processors (Stripe or PayPal) and never reach us. We see your name, email address, the license and the site it is activated on. The Freemius privacy policy describes their side.

The PasteTheme Pro plugin checks its license with Freemius. When you turn it on, it asks whether it may also send anonymous usage data (WordPress and PHP versions, the plugin version, the site address). You can say no and the plugin works the same.

Sites built with PasteTheme

The free PasteTheme plugin, the theme and PasteTheme Pro run on your server and send us nothing. Their built-in visit counter stores page counts in your own database with no cookies and no IP addresses. Contact-form submissions go to the address you choose and, with Pro, into your own site’s inbox. Anything you type into a Google Analytics box goes to Google under Google’s terms, not ours. The optional Turnstile spam shield sends the visitor’s browser check to Cloudflare under Cloudflare’s terms. You are the controller of your site’s data; we are not in the loop.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to us through the contact page. We answer within thirty days.
